Our health care services are designed to maintain and upgrade the standard of living of every person we serve. Our Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses provide skilled nursing care, while our trained Certified Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides provide assistance and support with daily living procedures and activities. Consulting with the physician, we provide whichever is necessary and appropriate to sustain the highest quality of life. Let us not forget the companionship and the positive interaction between our well chosen caregivers and our patients, which may be a most important reason for service. Alzheimer’s seniors are our specialty.

In addition, we provide private duty care staff for individual patients as permitted by the hospital, nursing home, or health related facility.

Supplemental Staffing:

In addition to Home Health Care Services we also provide Supplemental Staffing Services to Health Care Institutions. Our Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurses Aides provide staff relief for all shifts. We have many years of experience and partner with leading Health Care institutions in the area. We provide prescreening and orientation to these caregivers specific to the institution’s protocols.  

We can be contacted for staff requests 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our on-call staffing coordinators are ready to help after regular business hours.

Our staff meets all mandated requirements of the New York State Department of Health and the institution’s requirements. This includes but is not limited to physicals, background checks, License and certification verifications.

Home Companion Services:

In 2007 Attentive Home Companions, Inc. was established to provide non-hands-on non-medical support to seniors and others in their homes. This service provides independence from having to rely on family, friends, or neighbors for assistance.
